Daddy is Home!

It has been a long month, especially since February is a short month! Paul is finally finished training for his new position and we look forward to being his face more often! After 11 long days in Columbus he is finally home. (Don't worry we managed to send him back with the stomach flu, he wasn't left out!)
With MoMo in town and Dad home for the weekend we decided we should explore what this area has to offer.  Who knew their was an aquarium in Sandy? While Paul was gone we managed to hit up a few of the shopping venues, I thought it was best to do that with MoMo!
The girls loved it! Lots to see!
Avery loved watching the penguins! We told her that they were trying to kiss her as they would swim right next to her!  We can't wait until the weather is a bit warmer, so that we can go to the Zoo and see lots and lots of animals!
It is a good thing Dad's legs don't get tired!
I'm not sure who had more fun, the girls or Paul! Either way it was a fun afternoon!
What better way to finish a Friday afternoon, than with treats from the Sweet Tooth Fairy!  Little does Avery know that as soon as her cupcake is done she is off for a much needed nap! Lets just hope that smile doesn't turn into a screaming sad scowl! One can always hope!

Hold Please

We put unpacking on hold for a week, MoMo came to visit! And oh yes we did, we gave her the stomach flu to enjoy!  We didn't want her to feel left out!
But how could you be mad at faces as cute as Addie's and Avery's!
Sorry MoMo you don't get to go swimming! Hee Hee Heee! We will take you when you are all better!
Whew that was a close one!  But she made it thru, and the girls couldn't wait much longer.  They were dying to pounce on her!
See I told you we would take you swimming eventually!
Hey watch this I can fly! Oh just wait till I show you my flip off the diving board MoMo!
Good luck with those 2 Auntie MoMo!  They don't play nice, it is best if they are in seperate pools!
They look innocent on the outside but I'm telling you they are feisty little buggers! They should come with warning labels!

Adjusting to our Surrounding!

It is odd to think that I am the last Stutte to live in Utah, and I'm not even a Stutte anymore!  Why is it so hard for people to believe that I have never lived in Utah.  Just because my Mom and 2 sisters have all had stents in Utah and know how to get around doesn't mean a thing!
It not genetic guys! I don't know my directions and I have no idea what towns are in-between, sorry I'm not Utarded yet! But Addie is doing her best to make it feel like home!
It is official Paul has been in Georgia more days than we have been in Utah.  Even Ellie is missing Paul!
Have no fear we still enjoyed our Valentines Day! Thanks Inonna for all the candy that we won't be eating! Since we all seem to be recovering from the stomach flu! It was not pretty at our house! lets just say that Heavenly Father was testing my limits and I didn't like it much!
But the moral of the story is that we are all alive and we survived the stomach flu, with a big shout out to Aunt Joy for filling in while Dad was away and Mom was indisposed!
Now that we are starting to feel better, Avery is still confused on whether she want to go back to Idaho or look towards the future here in Utah! (check out her shoes)
Needless to say our transitioning has been a bit of a rocky road! Paul has been gone for all 7 days this month, we have had the stomach flu and I cried when I saw our master bedroom!  None the less we are adjusting and starting to make this house feel like home!  If anything I will have a tighter bum after having lived in this house!  My legs hurt every night, the 3 levels are killing me!

Over the Hills and Thru the Snow

Addie was so excited to see the snow!  She had to get out and play until her fingers were numb.  Honestly I was happy to take a break, because I am pretty sure that Avery cried most of the way.  Addie has had lots of change in her entire life.  Where as Avery on the other hand has had very little change and has no idea what is going to happen.
Luckily she perked up a bit when she found all of her toys! Once she realized that her toys were not lost forever and that her Mom and Dad were not leaving her to be raised by strangers she perked up a bit!
Ahh Shoot, we should have looked at the house in person before we committed for the next 2 years!
Okay maybe I overreacted at first, I think this place will be just fine!
Yup it feels like home.  Nothing like a morning pillow fight with Dad to break in a new house!
I would say that Avery is feeling much better about all these changes!  As long as she has Monkey she is A Okay!
Lets just say that they packed up all of our crap way way faster than I'm unpacking it all! I have no idea that a bigger house could have less room! I have no idea where to put all this junk! So until then we will use it as furniture!

Moving Day

It is finally Moving Day.  This day has been talked about for so long it barely seems real.  The girls don't really know what to make of all this.  Addie was sad until we told her that her new house was close to her cousin.  That was enough to distract her from the reality of the move.
Avery on the other hand was completely out of sorts!  She was an emotional mess, she was terrified to leave my arms!  But somehow we managed, thanks to wonderful friends who kept my girls busy and out of the way!
I feel so blessed it was sooo nice to have people come and take care of it all!  The Packers were great, the loaders were great, it was just great to have someone else do it all! The guys were even nice to Addie as she tried to help!
It is amazing how much stuff I managed to cram into that garage!  I never realized we had so much junk!
So long Idaho!  It was nice knowing you.  We will always cherish our great memories and the friends that we made.  I am grateful for the experience of having lived in Idaho and look forward to our new adventures in Utah!
