The Nice List

This is how we Hannant's prepare for Christmas!
After all that baking one must rest, at least take a power nap!  A sugar overdose can be exhausting you know!
We don't like to over exhort ourselves around the holidays.  Be strongly believe in resting on the couch and enjoying all the Holiday movies one can handle!
We even take time out to ride around the neighborhood, Miss. America style checking out all the beautiful lights around the neighborhood!  We only break a few of the not so important laws, who believes in child safety anyway.
We also believe in complete chaos!  I mean who has a couch this big and bouncy just to sit on! Its perfect for flips, flops, and even summersaults!
Once the acrobatics have taken their toll, they move on jumping on Mom, who is almost as soft as the couch!
Addie has turned into quite the little baker!  She is on her way to passes he Mother in the baking department, what can I say I was a late bloomer, when it came to domestic talents!
Avery couldn't wait to eat the frosting.  Who needs cookies when you can lick off all the frosting and then add more!
If she eats anymore frosting I think she will actually turn green!  Maybe we should ship her off to live with her cousin Chelsea and Stewart (Green). Haha at least I think I am funny.
Always checking on Santa!  We wouldn't want him to miss us because we were "maughty" and didn't go to bed early enough!
Hahahaha I'm so ready to see the light I got 2 coats!
We have had a wonderful time watching these two girls learn about Christmas.  Every night after we put jambes on Avery runs out with her coat and want to go drive around the neighborhood and look at all the lights.  While Addie is busy keeping tabs on Avery trying to get her on the "maughty" list while keeping herself on the nice list of course.

Personality

Everyday Avery seems to develop more and more personality.  One must not forget to feed their monkey.  All Monkeys need a pair of panties!
Paul and I went on a date and some how ended up at Target in the Toy department.  We ended up finding a Little People Nativity.  We came home and Addie was so excited, she said. "Is this for Me, Yippeee I Love it, do I get to open it now?"
It is true my little Avery is a bundle of mischief!  If she isn't pestering her sister she is creating mayhem. She looks sweet, but don't be fooled!  She can destroy a perfectly clean room in 10 seconds or less!
I might of failed to mention that she is also developing her own sense of fashion.  She watches everything that her sister does and wants to be like her, but still true to herself!
We are a family full of girls, each filled with personality!
Each one of us may be similar, but we each have our own special flair!

Growing Girls

Avery like her sister thinks she can do everything on her own!  Avery found her favorite shirt in her closet and decided that if I wouldn't put it on her she would find a way to wear it!
She was so proud of herself, she got it on! Ohhh but I'm not sure that is the way you wear a shirt? Oh well she isn't throwing her self on the floor screaming so I will just go with it!
Wow it really is Christmas, Avery gets to wear her shirt as a skirt, kinda, and their are presents under the tree!  Oh what is a girl to do, shake them of course!
Even better than presents, Dad is finally home! After 4 days of meetings in Dallas, he is home and ready to show the girls an awesome new app on the IPad!  Good thing Dad loves his girls!

Busy Busy Busy

Busy Busy at our house. In fact it has been so busy that I'm 2 weeks behind.  This year I decided that I would do a mostly homemade Christmas (Good thing I actually got started early for once).  I realized that our presents might mean more if they reminded people of those who gave the gift.  That way a little bit us could be with all the people we love and cherish.
Avery was always ready to help.  Whenever she could get away with it she was on my lap helping me sew/type/poo.  You get the picture, Avery is my little helper no matter the task.
Good thing Dad is a real trooper when crafts take over!  He is knows the drill, keep the girls happy and away from Mom and all is well!

As Avery would Say!

Thanks Avery, you have basically summed up exactly how I feel.  It seems like I can't get ahead.  We were traveling for so long and then we got home, struggled to be healthy and now we are teething.  Life is just a bowl of cherries. I took a few days off from my household chores and can I tell you that I want to just sit on the floor and cry too.  If only that would actually get my house clean, my kids fed and my blog updated!  So Take that!  I'm finally caught up and didn't have a meltdown, just a little yelling, but loud enough for the neighbors to hear!

HallOwEEn

Is it dark yet?
Here we are ready to get some loot!
Come on Mom, I don't want to smile I want to Trick or Treat!
This year Addie knew the drill.  She would knock and clearly say trick or treat, she would even make sure that Avery wasn't left out.  Avery on the other hand was a little skeptical.  She was perfectly happy to hang out in the stroller and munch on her candy.
With our crazy October we were a little less festive this year, but the girls still had fun.  Tinkerbell finally got worn on Halloween (Addie refused to wear it the year she picked it out) and Ariel were just about the cutest Princesses on the block!  The best part is that they didn't mind sharing their candy.  As a Mom at least I did 1 thing right! They like to share, well candy at lest.

Halloween at Grandma's

Home by late Tues. night in Utah by Friday. All of this traveling is enough to wear a kid out and block the door so that you can't make her go anywhere else for at least a few hours!
After a bit of sleep we were back and ready to ride the spooky train with Grandma, even if she looks like a scary witch.
 Mom and Think are ready.
Grandma is showing off her true nature!  While Ava is turning blue, just kidding she is just the cutest Smurfette ever!
The scary mob of people we like to call Family!
What better way to get ready for bed after a late spooky train ride than to wrestle with Tate and Dad!
Good thing we are on vacation, again.  No rest for the Hannants!

Last of Arkansas I Promise

These were just too sweet I had to post them!

It seems as if I went a little picture crazy this time.  Oh well my kids are cute I wanted to remember them sweet before they turn into teenage toads!

The Good, The Great, and the Not so Pretty!

Now that Dad has gone home it is just us Princess!
The plague of a Mom, is that the kids get ready for the day, but not always true for a Mom, even on vacation.
Inonna has rubbed off on Avery, if only I could get her to swifter my floors!
This week, isn't as warm as last.  Instead of swimming we actually bath the kids!
Big Daddy is teaching the girls about Cramer!  I think Addie was more interested in his candy, and Avery said she would rather eat her hand than watch Cramer! But you can't blame him for trying, he is greatly out numbered!
Aunt Chelsea and her annual pumpkin carving party.  We cheated a little, Potato Head pumpkin seemed like the greatest idea ever!
Hanging out with Pops.  Addie is off loving Koda the cat (her bestest friend ever).
More hanging out with Pops, but this time at the office.
As you can tell, working hours at the office are creative.  We have always believed that work can wait until its a little closer to a deadline!
It wouldn't be a trip to Arkansas if we didn't go swimming pool fishing! Honestly I am amazed that fishing pole still works!  To say the least Addie is an avid angler.
Until Next Time!  As always we had a great time and can't wait to come again!
