Packing up Again

So far so good.  But I guess we will find out when the movers show up tomorrow morning!
 The backyard has been  disassembled!
 They toys have been gathered!
Everything is off the walls and ledges!
I think we are ready!  Lets do this! Okay I will let you know how it really goes, but give me a few days it might be a while before I'm back!

Too Fast!

I can't believe how fast my girls are growing up! When we first moved here Addie wasn't much bigger than Avery is now, and Avery was a figment of our imagination.
Not that long ago we were building forts for Addie and ready books to her.  Now she plays video games, build awesome forts and is the best 4 year old on the Planet!
Before long Avery won't need me either!
Sad but true, she just about has my phone figured out.
While Addie is of being a city planner in the living room, or running around Disneyland in the bedroom, Avery is my shadow she helps me with everything! Just like Addie used to.
These girls are amazing, I can't wait to see how they change the world and make it a better place!

Swimsuit at night Snowsuit by Morning

Avery thought that it was best to play our new Kinect in her swimsuit.  Okay actually it is Addie's but Avery always likes Addie's things the best! P.S. don't break her sweet little heart and tell her that she isn't actually playing the game!
"Wow, Mom its Christmas"- Addie, "no Addie Christmas was last month" "No Mom when it snows it is Christmas again"-Addie "Wow, Look, Look"-Avery
Once the girls woke up enough to realize that their was snow outside they were excited to try out their snow clothes! Avery was even willing to put her boots on! Which is huge for my barefoot diva!
Addie was in heaven, she loves to play in the snow, eat the snow, throw the snow, she loves snow!
Avery on the other hand was skeptical.  Addie is the kid that jumps right in, whereas Avery likes to test the water first. It might take her a while to warm up to the idea of snow!
Addie played in the snow until the rain started and melted away our little friend!  Thanks Mother Nature for keeping our snow short and sweet, but next time could ya try to snow when Paul is in town! He is the better snow shoveler!

Emotional Rollarcoaster

One minute we are all smiles
 Then become a little skeptical
Then we are all smile again
 Now the meltdown!
We have had a wild ride this last month or so!  We are sad to leave all of our friends here in Boise but are excited try out Saratoga Springs Utah!  Let the craziness begin!  T-minus 2 weeks till Paul starts his new job! Woohoo I guess I have a lot to do if we are going to make it to Utah before Jan. 30th!

Family Date

All Smiles at Jump Time this Saturday afternoon!
Addie is so excited that she does the Happy Dance while we wait!
Addie was non-stop go!  I was lucky to get her to slow down long enough for me to get a picture.  Not that she was looking at the camera in any of them.
Addie was a flipping maniac.  She loved doing flips into the foam pit.  I'm willing to bet that this kid will be flipping off the diving board come summer!
Avery on the other hand is a little more reserved.  Don't get me wrong that is mischief in her eye, but it isn't as wild.

An afternoon at Jump Time was exactly what this family needed!

After all the Wrapping Paper

Now that all the presents are opened and glitter of Christmas day has faded a bit, it is time to let out true colors show.  Avery has embraced her inner "Quail Girl" (for those who grew up watching Doug).
Addie borrowed Sisters new Doll and helps Dad get water to Swampy, an iPad game that those two are obsessed with! There is no denying that those two are related!
Avery is up to her normal no good, but with good intentions.  She always thinks that she is helping, but something tells me she isn't so great al cleaning glass!
Yup you guessed it, Addie and Dad are back to Swampy.  Yes that is a Pizza box you see, but don't be fooled I cooked all kinds of delicious food over the holiday weekend!  I even made a pecan pie from scratch, that was delicious. However, all good cooks get a day off!
To sum it all up, we were a bunch a lazy people who rarely got out of our jammie, played a lot of swampy, and enjoyed some really yummy food!  Yup, pretty much exactly what we needed!

Good Little Kidlettes

Addie was anxious to prove that she was on the nice list and not the "mighty" list.  She was sleepy and ready for bed, and got really mad a sister when she was not so sleepy or ready for bed!  As they were supposed to be sleeping we kept hearing Addie yell at Ave "Shhh Ave your going to be on the "Maughty list" don't get me on the "Maughty list".
Lucky for Addie, Santa know that she is a good girl, and left the girls plenty.  Lets just hope that it helps motivate them to continue being sweet little girls instead of toads!
Even on Christmas one must protect their loot from a little Ave monster!
But, seriously how could Avery be a monster!  She just likes to make messes and have fun!
Now I that all the toys are opened and all over the house, Avery finds a box!  Seriously kid!  All of those toys and she is perfectly happy with her monkey, blanket and a box!
We are truly blessed and enjoyed a wonderful Christmas.
