Kindergarten Celebration

Owen turns 1

Yay for the Beach

Oh, how we love our cousins!  Even that Jacob.
Who doesn't love a day at the beach.  The dogs loved it! Fletchie Fletch and Ellie were having a blast chasing the waves and each other.

The cousins were inseparable and played until they couldn't keep their eyes open.
Roasting marshmallows and warming my tootsies by the fire, a perfect ending for a fun sandy day with our cousins.
A fun weekend of examining every strand of hair multiple times over, playing with cousins and enjoying the Oregon Coast.
If only we all had Hair like Grandpa Parker, the lice wouldn't have been an issue.
If you can't share lice then what kind of family are you. hehehe.  All I can say is I am glad they are gone! The lice that is, not the cousins.

Yay, Yay, Yay!

So, we managed to pack our entire house and get everything loaded without any major accidents. However as we were dumping the last of our trash my camera was knocked out of the car and rendered broken!
I was really calm and didn't even yell, but I was bummed.
Once the dust had settled, I finally took it in to see if it was forever broken or fixable.  Luckily Husband was only replacing a lens!
 The Momeratzie is back.
Honestly how can you not want to take pictures of these sweet faces.

Warmer Days

I think that the stars might just be aligning after several weeks of exhaustion.  After years of wishing we had a place to put a basketball hoop, we finally do! Who would have thought that something as simple as a basketball goal would make a grown man so happy.
I must say that I have really been enjoying the warmer weather.  We might not have the awesome pool down the street like in Utah, but we have our little pool up in the backyard. Owen was not thrilled to be wearing Avery's hat, but we misplaced his :(
This move has made these two become the best/worst of friends.  Lucky for me they are BFFs today.
You know what warmer weather mean, right.  Jammin' out and cruising in the jeep with the top off!  Nothing screams stuff dude like singing Frozen soundtrack at the top of your lungs.
Avery and her sunscreen.  You know when you are a vampire or have 1/2 Stutte DNA sunscreen is very important.  This summer we may be paler than usual, but at least we will be having a good time.

Growing Up

Addie finally lost her tooth.  It has been loose forever, she finally got brave and let me pull it out.
"Mom can you watch Owen, I'm trying to play" -Addie
While I am busy pulling weeds and working in the yard, the girls found a new way to prevent slivers from the wood chips.  Those clever little cuties.
It wouldn't be my house if I didn't paint something. I couldn't handle the orange front door so one afternoon during nap time I took care of that problem.
Even though our backyard is a playground the kiddos love to go to the park.  Happy Kiddos make for a happy Momma.

All Smiles

Not being Homeless is the best present a girl could ask for.
I am pretty sure our house is just one mess after another, the key word being OUR.
I will say that this yard is amazing. When looking at it as a perspective home owner it seems awesome, looking at it as a home owner it is a TON of work. But I still love it!
Addie loves school and is making friends with all our neighbors. Avery is Happy Happy Happy, her and her "New Cousin" play all day.  I will say when Addie is being nice and Avery is feeling settle her "New Cousin" dies, but Jesus Christ brings "New Cousin" back to life when she need her.  I guess she was paying attention at church, who knew.
While hanging out at Dad's office the girls decided to draw him some pictures since their aren't any on his walls.
Like always life goes on and we are just taking things one step at a time and trying to catch a little sleep here and there.  Most important we are all Happy Happy Happy,

Home Sweet Home

The long nightmare is over.  Time to let the real fun begin.  To bad I am exhausted,
I can't believe we have so much crap. If only I good snap my fingers and magically be unpacked and moved in!
Ah finally we can send the kid to school!  I am not sure who is more excited me or Addie.
Things seem to be getting back to normal, the girls are enjoying their stuff.  If only we could only convince Avery that her new house is really her new house day after day.  During the transition her home has changed so much that she doesn't believe that we are really staying here for more than a day or two.  Avery has also found a new cousin.  She has created an imaginary friend that she calls her "New Cousin".
Owen has been a great helper. He loves having his stuff again, my arms might even be enjoying it more than him.
The house is settled enough, time to find a Home Goods and give Dad's office an little sprucing.

Week 2 of Being Homeless

We loaded up again and hit the road.
The kiddos we happy to be out of the car. We couldn't be more thankful for the Parkers.  They have agreed to let us stay with them until we can have a home of our own.
I will say it has been less than optimal, but the best one could hope for.  It has been an extremely long month, packing and more packing followed by driving, driving and more driving, and one new place after another.  All in all the kids have been pretty darn good, but they are getting restless and ready to have their own space and things again.
Avery has been the most confused by all of the unrest.  The poor little girls is just having a hard time being a nice girl.

2 1/2 weeks of being homeless is enough to make anyone sad, but their is light at the end of the tunnel.  We survived and have lived to tell the tale. We survived the downtown Target with 3 kids and driving the Monster Jeep with a GPS that was beyond my brain power, and many many afternoons at the park. We love you Parkers and are thankful that you were willing to let us take over the basement for a week in a half.
