Cutest thing Ever! Dec 2014

The girls are both in Dance this year.  Avery is in twirling tots and Addie is in Irish Dance. They put together a little show for all the parents and I must say that dancing 3 and 4 year olds has to be the cutest thing I have ever seen.

Addie's class also had a cute performance for the parents, but I can not seem to find those pictures.  I will have to find them and post them.  It was really cute to watch their bouncing wigs as they skipped and hopped about the room.

December Traditions

Working on our Gingerbread house.

Trying to get a cute picture of kids in front of the tree.  Owen refused to participate.

Finally after many threats and couching we were able to get 1.
Just passing the time as we wait to see Santa and deliver our wish lists.

Then we headed to zoo lights.  It was however much warmer than it was last year in Utah.

Merry Christmas and hopefully I can find the other pictures.

Thanksgiving 2014

Fun with the Cousins!!
We headed to Seattle to check out Dave and Jody's new house, and managed to not take any pictures of the actual house :/
However I am mostly positive that the kids couldn't tell you one detail about the house itself.

They only have eyes for their cousins and making gigantic messes.

I am fairly certain that they taught Owen a thing or two about making gigantic messes!
But it was all in the name of having fun with their cousins! OH and the food was delicious as always.  Jody would never leave us with a partially full belly.

Puppy Training

Just teaching the Sam the basic necessities of being a member of this family, besides the basic skills of using an outdoor bathroom and not eating our stuff.
We taught him how to do yard work.  In hopes that he will love the yard and not dig a bunch of holes!
Paul is teaching his fellow comrades how to properly pretend to do work when really looking a ridiculous boy stuff.  I think it might take a few more lessons before that one is mastered.

Meet Sammie (Nov 2015)

A little sooner than our broken hearts were ready for but so worth it.  Addie would write us notes everyday begging for a new puppy.  At first she would beg for a husky pup and then it evolved into begging for a golden doodle.  Ok maybe she had a little help from Mom and picking out a golden doodle.
Once we started just looking into golden doodles we realized they are perfect for our family.  Honestly we were just looking and were going to wait a bit before getting a puppy.
Sammie was just meant to be. It all kinda happened really fast and so we just embraced being puppy owners.  Addie was over the Moon and Avery wanted to give it back the moment she laid eyes on the puppy.  The entire way home she cried that she wanted a Paw Pet (much later we figured out that meant a PoP head toy).
Addie was determined to name this puppy Sam.  We tried and tried but she refused to call him Duddly.   So meet our newest member Sammie Hannant!

Saddest Day Ever (Nov. 1, 2014)

We had to say goodbye to our besets fur baby.  After a few weeks of not feeling well and not getting better we took her to the Vet Nov. 1st.  Not realizing that it was going to be our very last day with our Big Fursister.
Ellie had a giant tumor the size of a Watermelon in her abdomen and was too week to operate.  We made arrangements for an emergency blood transfusion to get her platelets up so that they could operate.  Once they opened her up and removed the tumor they found that she was riddled with Cancer.  It had riddled her poor body.  SO we had to make the hardest decision yet.  Our Ellie was a great dog and had lived a good life and we did not want her to suffer.
So wishing we had been just a little nicer or had 1 more snuggle we are left remembering all the fun that we had with her.  Ellie has been with us thru 4 big moves,  3 new babies and managed to protect from any one who might even look at our home.  She was the greatest big fursister we could ask for and will miss her greatly.

Halloween

The Real Reason Inonna came to Visit

Hawaii!
Thank You Aflac.  With all the ups and downs of the past few months Hawaii was a perfect.
We tried to make the most of our trip.  We snorkeled, we Polynesian Cultured ourselves, we hung out with Old Mission Buddy Brett and his family, and managed to boogie board.
Those only being the highlights of the trip.  We also managed to fun the best saved ice ever! Listen to Amy Grant, and Philip Phillips and eat a lot of over priced yet so delicious food.  (or maybe I was just hungry)
I have to say that if I ever make it back to Hawaii again, we will have to hang out with Brett and his family again.  His kids are our kids age and they are adorable. Plus he has Segways, a shave ice machine and frozen yogurt machine!  Pretty much he speaks my language.
