The Tomb was Empty and My Heart is Full!

My heart is full as we celebrate this Easter season.  As Addie says "Jesus died and then he came to life again so we can be happy" these sweet words have more truth than she can even comprehend.  As her Mom with many more years under my belt I am not even sure that I can fully comprehend the Love that our Savior has for us, but I do know that I am blessed and honored to be Daughter of God.
I can not say that I have always made the right choices in Life but I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that  3 almost 4 choices (Paul counts too!) were the best thing I could have ever made.  Good thing I had a little help :)
We have been enjoying the spring like weather, so much so that we had a late start to our Easter egg decorating.  Addie had been begging all week to dye Easter eggs and finally her wish came true!
The girls had started to think that the Easter Bunny has forgotten about us. We came home from church and found eggs all over the yard and the girls were too excited to wait for us to catch up.
EB knows how to get on Addie's good side.  SHe has only been begging for a Bolt dog since the Movie came out, and that was a while ago.
Avery definitely has her own ideas of how things should be done.  She wanted nothing to do with her little basket, she went straight for the big one that we had emptied all their treasures into.  Meanwhile Addie was off collecting all the eggs and Avery was just happy to wear her new Tinkerbell shoes and carry all her loot.
After a good ol' fashion sugar overdose and some running around we were off to Grandma's for Easter dinner.
While we waited for everyone to arrive Addie perfected her jump shot and taught Dad a few things about basketball.
 Cheese!
As Addie said "This is the Best Easter EVER!"
I am officially 30 wks pregnant and the count down for Baby Brother is on! We are all excited for our many blessing and are amazed that we have more to come.  We are excited to see what the future hold for our family.

Puerto Rico

Paul was fortunate enough to have his translating/training abilities needed in Puerto Rico so guess who tagged along for fun!
Yup, who is going to pass up a trip like this especially when there isn't one in our foreseeable future.  The rest of this year is pretty booked up solid with baby and wifey ailments getting corrected!
This loaded my pictures all out of order and I am way to tired and lazy at the moment to rearrange them.  But to say the least Avery was really excited about her new dress and to have her parents home again!
We had a wonderful time, in a beautiful place, and Paul was able to work with some amazing people.  All in all it was a great trip.
 The city was amazing!
The history, culture and beauty were all mind blowing. WHich for me is pretty easy these days.  If it is above a Disney Jr. level I make no promises on comprehending.
I will say that we had a wonderful time, but I never want to do a trip like that 29 wks pregnant! We have vacationed at 20 wks and it was great, but 29 not as much fun!
We spend and afternoon exploring the rainforest, and then the evening kayaking in the Bio-Bay.  Which was AMAZING.  Kayaking in the dark through a mangrove was kinda creepy, but well worth it.
Hanging out exploring Old San Juan.
Yup that would be Paul and his Umpa Lumpa. Seriously we had a wonderful time, but were ready to get home and see our sweet girls!  Even if one is half Monster and the other is a Sassy Pants.

What's New

We put Avery into a Gymnastic class.
Technically she is a little young for the 3 yr old, but it is at the same time as Addie's class so we are giving it a try.
She definitely keeps her teachers on their toes, but seems to get better with each week.  She now has a gymnastics leotard and looks forward to it each week so that is a plus.  But we will have to work on her staying in line, and actually being able to get on the beam, but baby steps people she is only 2.
Addie being Addie. (The last day that TV actually worked)
Avery being Avery.  She is even more stubborn than Addie and insists on dressing herself.  I am to tired to care most days.
Addie riding her new bike!  She wants to be able to ride without training wheels but is actually to timid to go fast enough to balance.  Crazy kid.

MoMo and Pops Playdate

To kick off an extended weekend of fun, why not go swimming! We are so spoiled with the heated hot springs pool just down the street.  The girls forget that it isn't normal to be swimming outside when its cold.
Addie of course loved having her MoMo to pester.
When one is happy the other must be grumpy!
It wouldn't be our Addie if she wasn't attacking and ready to pounce at any given moment.  Good thing we love her!
This picture couldn't explain my life any better!  My children are total opposites and refuse to be happy at the same time, and when it rarely happens it is not nearly long enough.
Not everyone got to go skiing, like MoMo and Pops.  So we treated the girls to the indoor ferris wheel at Scheels.
I know we are grouped into that Crazy American category that is obsessed with Ferris wheels :)
Just hanging out and admiring our new TV and the boys handy work of setting it all up! I am still not convinced that Paul didn't break the old one just so he could get the one he wanted.
It was a short trip but the girls had a lot fun.  After they left Avery was wondering the house looking for Pops and MoMo, saying "I loss my MoMo, I loss my Pops".
