Sunday Afternoon at the Park

After a late night of fireworks and an even longer night of Addie, a nice cool, but warm Sunday afternoon was just what we needed. Addie helped Dad navigate our way to the park! Addie loved riding Grandma's bike with Dad doing all the work.

Once at the park, Grandma took Addie to feed the ducks.

Grandma had feed the ducks before, she knew all the tricks. Grandma has a special skill of tricking people and ducks alike to keep eating even after they are full! It worked like a charm, those ducks just kept eating until Grandma ran out of bread!

Once the ducks were full and we were out of bread it didn't take long before Addie needed to get a closer look at them.

Two seconds later all the ducks were gone, I can't imagine why! Little miss Splish Splash.

The Park not only had a normal park playground and a duck pond but 2 splash fountains! The fountains were just about the closest I think Ellie will ever come to swimming! Keeping Addie and Ellie out of the fountain would have been like taking the Catholic out of the Pope, it just wasn't going to happen!

Thus we embraced the opportunity to splash and have fun on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.
