Happy Halloween from the Addams Family! This year Addie refused to be Tinkerbell. She refused to have anything to do with everything Tinkerbell. So I thought that she could then wear her Zebra costume, but yet again would have nothing to do with it. The only costume that she would even consider was her Spider from last year, good thing Addie didn't grow to much! And even when it came time to dress up, she wasn't sure about Mom's new look and wanted nothing to do with her new parents! With a little help from her cousin Abby we were able to trick her into wearing her costume! Thanks Abby!
We decided that Addie needed some mentors in the Halloween Department. So we went to Dave and Jody's and Trick or Treated in their neighbohood. It is a good thing that she had her cousins to teach her a thing or two about Halloween.
Rule #1, when you knock on someones door and they open the door, it doesn't mean that we are suposed to go inside! It only took a couple of doors and Addie had that one down.
Rule # 2 Stay together and always look cute! Check! By the end of the night Addie Addie had mastered Trick or Treating. She would stand close to the door and hold her little treat bucket (a hairy eyeball) up and say Teeeet, and happily wait until they filled her eye with candy! She loved Halloween so much that she had to sleep with her Hairy Eyeball!
Addie wore her spider all day, we weren't taking any chances. Addie was going to be a spider and like it! Mom had worked too hard on Tinkerbell and didn't want to fight anymore!
