The plum trees are abloom and the warm afternoon are frequent. Addie's favorite phrase lately has been "what a beautiful day" and if it isn't sunny she says "what a day". Ahhh I love that kid. I also love driving down the streets of our neighborhood. The streets are lines with beautiful pink "glowers".
Along with the warmer weather of spring, we get to celebrate Easter. The 3 wards in our building put together the Easter Journey. It is a massive undertaking, but is well worth it. The building is transformed into Jerusalem with a cast testifying/singing/acting the last days of Jesus's life. It is amazing, and I am thankful for the small role I was able to have in transforming the church.
The girls were amazing little trooper. We spent close to 30 hours at "Jesus's house" this week and the girls were amazing given the circumstances. Avery was in the middle of all the action, while Addie was off chasing the kids, helping with the other rooms and playing. Addie loved it when other kids, it seems like she was always finding a new friend. Luckily the other ladies were kind and understanding, especially when Addie was stealing treats.
I am not going to lie, it was a massive undertaking to transform the gym into those two room, but it could not have been possible with out all the generous families who donated their time, decorations and talents and 3 days of work. Once it was done and I could step back and be done, it made it all worth it. Avery was the happiest to know that we didn't have to go back to the church today, Addie on the other hand not so happy. She had me drive by to make sure that their weren't any kids. She looked at me and said "where'd everybody go, no cars, uhhh".
I am always happy to read an update! Busy and fun you guys are!!
