Lessons Learned

This week has been a fairly decent week filled with hard knock life lessons.  Avery has refused to listen to the warnings from her parents and insisted on tasting dirt for herself. Surprise Surprise, dirt doesn't taste so great! 

 Lesson #2  It isn't very much fun watching Addie play, when you can't join in! 

 Lesson #3 Gymnastics worth every dollar! Addie LOVES it!

 Lesson #4 If you haven't tried using ski googles as sunglasses, you should!  "They are awesome Mom"

 Lesson #5 It's never to early to take up roller skating, but don't leave the carpet!  That darn kitchen floor it is slickery! 

 Lesson #6 When you can't decide between your two favorite activities, do them both! 

 Lesson #7 Christmas presents in March are just as much fun as in December! (Yup, lets just say the assemblers have been a little busy!)

 Lesson #8 In the end Sisters always help each other out, even when they don't really want to!

This week has been a fun one, the weather is starting to get warmer and the girls enjoying every minute of it! OK most minutes!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

This Year we decided that we would show those little leprechauns that they can't play tricks on us!  Addie didn't have any green jammies, but we made sure that we had our green sheets, green fingers & toes, we even put green ribbons!

 Avery on the other hand didn't want anything to do with her green jammies! She only wanted her Minny Mau jammies and their was no convincing her otherwise!

 Those tricky little leprechauns really had fun in Avery's room!  Hopefully next year she remember to wear green!

 Addie was handsomely rewarded for her efforts!  Wow the Barbie Mermaid 2 Movie, those Leprechauns sure are smart!

Maybe next year we will try to catch those sneaky little Leprechauns!

What a Week!

Wow it is starting to look a lot like spring! This week has been beautiful! We have loved being able to play outside without coats!

Lucky for us, our cousins are just around the corner.  While the girls were busy playing, I was getting beat up by the weeds.  Now I have the front flower beds under control, now I just need a few more warm days to tackle the backyard!

After a long afternoon of running, jumping, swinging, a girls gotta relax on the couch with the only kitten allowed in this house! 

Addie is not one to sit around and watch others, she has to get in the middle (way), ask questions, and figure out how to do it. She has now taken up photography as a hobby.

Hopefully she can start earning her keep around here.  We will start her off with a few of the smaller bills! Pretty soon she will be supporting the family with all her talents!

Everyday Life

We try to bath every now and again!

 We sneak Dad Juice as often as possible!

 Dance party with the ski googles is a must!

 If you can catch her she might even smile!

 Power tools? We train em young!

Raining Snow and Toilets

While one kid is jumping for joy at the sight of snow!

 The other is crying in terror! 

  While my my car was getting the oil changed which turned into 4 hours and 2 new tires. We were lost and forgotten at the Mall.  The dealership was more than happy to drop us off elsewhere while they worked on my car.  Especially since in the 1st hour we had 2 spills and melt down and a roaming stroller.  

 Addie had spilled her hot chocolate all over herself and didn't not like waring dirty clothes. Conveniently enough for her we were at the mall.  Addie got a new shirt while Avery ran all over the store clutching a pair of sunglasses.  Even though she was rotten and ran all over the place and wouldn't listen, I caved and got her the adorable rhinestone sunnies!

 There is something to be said for the kid who went skiing twice before she was even born. We can't keep her out of the snow, she loves it!  The morning that it snowed she got up and said "yippee it is Christmas again" while Avery only likes the snow from afar! 

When Big Daddy comes to town we take full advantage!  He stopped by before he headed north to see his kids and enjoy a ski trip.  

Addie was happy to teach him how!  She liked being in the middle of all the tools and whatnots!  We said we wished the basement had a bathroom, and now it does!  Thanks Big Daddy!

This week was pretty exciting for us. We had some snow, got stranded at the Mall for hours, had some more snow and got to see Big Daddy. Oh and or Daddy came home!  YAy!!!!!! Hopefully next week can be a little less exciting I need a nap!
