Inonna comes for a Visit

Just a day at the Beach in October
Nothing beats a sunny warmish day at the Oregon coast.
Owen wast not all that impressed.
The girls on the other hand...
Inonna wasn't convinced that it was warm, but what does she know.
Naturally Avery would "fall" but we knew she wasn't really going to stay dry.

Owen did not share the girls same enthusiasm.  He only wanted to enjoy the beach from the comforts of parental arms.
After a quick wardrobe change, the girls were back in business.
After toes had lost feeling, Avery resorted back to her boots.  A sunny warmish day on the beach is just what we needed to put a few smiles on our faces.

Oct. 2014 part 2

Making Lemonade out of lemons
Addie getting ready for her jog-a-thon.
We have been enjoying all the warm weather.
We may not know why things have happened the way that they have but we sure are grateful to have this awesome backyard.

A zip line, tramp, jungle gym, and basketball hoop.  If we play are cards right our Dad might build us  our fire pit.  wink wink.

Addie's Class Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch
Addie is such a funny kid.  School a place where she comes alive.  She is a spunky, funny, kid full of ideas and fun.
She finds a friend in everyone.  She loves Carly and Boston twins in her class.
Addie is a teachers dream.  She loves to please and follow rules.  She is a smart kid who loves to have fun.
She was not smart enough to make is thru the corn maze, but neither were the adults leader her group. Hey don't judge, I never claim to have a sense of direction.
Mrs. Lomax has been such a blessing.  She makes school and learning so much fun.  Addie loves her and loves her class.  I couldn't ask for a better school experience.

September 2014

A friend of ours is a Children's Author and we were so excited to go to her book signing.  Hooks Revenge is a book about Captain Hooks daughter.  In honor of all pirates we decided to dress up as the most stylish pirates around.
Our Addie was being camera shy, but I managed to get a quick blurry but cute picture of her.  If there is an opportunity to dress up, you can count on the Hannant girls to participate!  We also like to add a little of our own flare to a theme, hey we are visionaries :)

Go Ducks

Enchanted Forrest

1st Days of 1st grade

I can not believe that summer is over.  I am not going to lie, my house is kind of grateful. I have fallen just a wee bit behind in my house keeping.
This little cutie is so excited!  She can't wait to meet her teacher and play with all her classmates.
Owen is still trying to figure out what all the fuss is about.
After Addie told me that I needed to get up early because she was not going to be late for school, I proved to her that I can actually get up and get her to school on time (with 1 min. to spare).
She decided that her shirt was to fancy for school, and I said "Um No" then she decided that she needed to add some accessaries (her leg warmers).  She is such a cute kids.
While Addie is off learning how to take over the world, we go visit Dad at work.  We have to take advantage of it before he moves his office to Portland.
I know one sister who was not too thrilled with the idea of Addie going to school.  She wanted it to be her 1st Day of school too.
Avery was so excited to see Addie when she finally got off the bus. 9:30-4 pm is a really long day.
