Our New Friends

Avery is a bit more hesitant to great our new little buddies than Addie.  Ave didn't want to leave the safety of her stroller!
Addie on the other hand jumped out and was ready to catch them and give them a great big hug!  Good things those Ducks were more friendly than most!
Addie thought that they were looking a bit thin, so she fed them plenty of goldfish.
Ave still doesn't know what to think of those ducks. She won't take her eyes off those sneaky little guys!
Whew! Finally the giant Sandbox, now we are speaking Avery's language!
This great little park is one of our favorite places to go.  Good thing it is only a brief walk from our house! I have a feeling that those ducks are going to be pretty fat by the end of the summer! Maybe by then Avery will be a bit more friendly to Sisters new friends!

Cheese!

I have one child who refuses to look at the camera, and you have to threaten to get her to get a terrible forced smile. Then there is Avery who will bring me the camera, pose say cheese then run back to me to look at her picture!
This cutie pie was all about having her picture taken!
As long as it is her idea or something she wants to do she is happy!  I can only hope that come annual picture time that she is this happy for the camera!
One more Cheese before Bed! CHEESE!

Summer Time!

Warm sunny days just make us happy!
We Love to play outside especially when we get to play with our cousins!
Tate and Addie can always find something to keep them entertained!
After our sweet Avery had played all she could bare, she took a quick time out!
Even when its dark out we are still thinking of what we want to do when the sun comes out again!

Life

On any given day we might a super hero running thru the house or even a sweet little princess
While the Super Hero and Little Princess take a break, Avery prepares for a sand storm!
Around here you never know when the wind is going to pick up so it is better to be prepared!
Avery plays it safe while Addie likes to take risks and tempt fate!

Out Seeing the World!

After debating to go out of town and changing our mind a few times we finally decided to get the heck out of town!
We checked the weather and it seemed as if the weather gods were angry with the entire State of Utah.  We didn't let a little chilly temperatures and wind gusts stop us!
Saturday we explored the majesty of Bryce Canyon.
Mostly we we enjoyed a beautiful drive and brief outings at the various viewpoints!
Truly amazing, maybe we will explore more next time!
Last available room!  We we lucky to have a bed!  The girls started the night on the floor but somehow ended up in with us!
Day 2 Zion's National Park!
They day started of a bit chilly but ended up being beautiful!

Gymnastics

Avery is ready to cheer her sister on in her very 1st ever gymnastics exhibition!
Addie on the other hand isn't really all that sure what to think of it all.
Addie has only been in this gymnastics glass for 1 month, but she loving every minute of it!
Addie might have forgotten, all of her routine, but she nailed the dismount!  This kid has been jumping off of things her entire walking life!
Avery was the supportive sister and wanted to capture everything!
Yay it is over, And she even got a ribbon!  At the very end when they call everyone by name and have them stand on the podium with their ribbon Addie wouldn't get up.  They called her name and then I had to yell from the stands and get her attention before she got up. Later when we asked her about it, she said that it wasn't her name they said Janet!
It is a good thing that Janet wasn't there to take Addie's ribbon! Especially since that is her most very favorite part of the whole thing!

Big Day for Addie

Addie has been begging me for the last week to get her hair cut short, like Ava's (her cousin).  I finally gave in.  Someone is going to get an awesome wig from all that hair!
Addie was so good, she did exactly what she was told.  At first I thought she was sad and didn't like it.
But that was just Addie being shy in front of the hair dresser.
For the rest of the afternoon she would brush her hair, toss her hair back and say "hey Look at me, I have short hair now".
My sweet little Rapunzel is now a big kid!
